Aaron Lyle Fredrick Barrett Jr. (born September 22, 2013), known professionally as Aaron The Producer, is an American rapper-songwriter and record producer from Olympia, Washington. Known for blending elements of hip-hop, trap, pop rap, melodic rap, alternative rap, and jazz-rap, he has established himself as an independent artist through self-produced releases and entrepreneurial ventures. Aaron The Producer began his music career in early 2023, initially sharing an account with his younger brother, Lil Koda. The pair collaborated on several songs together, helping Aaron develop his skills as a songwriter, performer, and producer. In early 2025, he created his own BandLab account and began releasing music independently under his solo stage name. On January 1, 2026, Aaron released his debut EP, 2026 EP. The project was briefly available on major streaming platforms before being voluntarily removed shortly after its release. Despite its removal from streaming services, the EP remains available on BandLab and served as an important early release in his catalog. Aaron released his debut studio album, BACKFLIP, on April 15, 2026. Consisting of 31 tracks, the album showcased his versatility across multiple styles of rap and production, marking a significant milestone in his career. As his first full-length studio album, BACKFLIP helped define his artistic identity and demonstrated his commitment to independent music creation. In addition to his music career, Aaron owns Firemusic Productions, a private record label through which he manages and releases his music. Through his work as a rapper, songwriter, producer, and label owner, Aaron continues to expand his presence as an independent artist.
